Trails and fees

Which Madeira trail ticket is cheaper?

The answer

€4.50 a walk, or €10.50 for full PR1. Booking is compulsory.

For a three-day plan, the pass only becomes cheaper from the fifth eligible walk. PR1 is always charged separately.

Levada walks & hiking

Guided walks and transfers to mountain and forest routes.

Check difficulty, footwear, pickup and the return plan—not only the scenery.

Two walkers following a levada path into low sun, the narrow water channel running full alongside the trail, a mossy rock face on one side and a wooded valley dropping away on the other.

A bare earth path between ancient moss-covered laurel trees on bright green grassland in mist, their gnarled branches arching low over the trail.

Guided levada walks, transport included

IFCN provides no return transport, and PR1 is one-way past Pedra Rija — a guided walk solves the logistics the booking system leaves to you.
